Community

We are a family of faith, supporting and uplifting one another in and out of the studio.

Fun

Because every class should bring joy, laughter, and a love of dance!

Why Families Choose ALDA

Parents tell us again and again: ALDA feels different. That’s because every detail is intentional, rooted in our values and designed to grow with your child.

  • A progressive curriculum from infants through adults—your child can start here and stay here.

  • Led by professionals with elite performance backgrounds (LSU Golden Girls, NFL Saintsations).

  • Faith-based, family-oriented values woven into everything we do.

  • Partnerships with respected dance industry organizations that elevate our programs.

  • A safe, developmentally appropriate approach so every dancer feels secure, respected, and celebrated.

Led with experience. Rooted in faith.

Courtney Labat DaValle

Owner/Director

Courtney has lived and breathed dance since childhood, performing with the LSU Golden Girls and as a New Orleans Saintsation. Today, she brings that same discipline, passion, and intentionality into every detail of ALDA’s programs.

Her vision is to partner with parents in raising confident, integrity-filled leaders who shine in dance and in life.

And a faculty that feels like family.

Our teachers aren’t just instructors. They’re mentors, cheerleaders, and role models. Each one is passionate about creating a positive, uplifting atmosphere where every dancer feels seen and supported.

A scholarship recipient and graduate of UC Irvine, she holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography as well as a BA in Education Sciences, making her uniquely equipped to help dancers grow both artistically and academically.

Her career includes performing with the Sacramento Ballet, Core Contemporary Dance Company, Geometry Dance Company, and Lume Dance in Los Angeles. She has choreographed original works for professional showcases and collaborated internationally with musicians from Italy’s St. Cecelia Conservatory.

At ALDA, Freya co-directs the EDGE Competitive Dance Program, bringing her extensive training in jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, and more into every class. Megan Geier

Events Coordinator
Instructor/Choreographer

As the third of eight siblings, Megan grew up surrounded by music, theatre, and dance — and she’s been sharing that same joy with her students ever since. She began her own training at just three years old and went on to study ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary, gaining a deep appreciation for both the artistry and discipline of performance.

Her journey includes leading her high school colorguard team to their first-ever world championship competition, founding her college’s first dance club, and choreographing musicals such as Beauty and the Beast and Newsies. Megan has also performed and choreographed professionally for theatre productions, films, commercials, and projects with major studios like Universal, Sony, and Warner Brothers.

Parents love Megan’s creativity and her ability to connect with every child — whether it’s building confidence on stage, sparking a love for storytelling, or simply making each dancer feel celebrated.
