Make Up Class Policy
Make up classes are granted to students who have been absent to any full season class for any reason. Make up classes are also granted to those students who would have had any full season classes on an observed studio holiday closure with the exception of Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, and Spring/Easter Break. Make up classes are NOT offered or available for session based courses such as AcroDance Preschool and any other 6-10 week session course.

All make up classes must be made AFTER the absence and within 30 days of absence or studio closure. Make up classes cannot be used in place of tuition, cannot be used as a drop in, and cannot be scheduled for dancers whom are not currently enrolled in classes. Make up classes can only be used by the dancer whom the absence was recorded and not another family member/friend.

Makeup classes cannot be scheduled in a class that has FULL enrollment nor can the be scheduled in a class that is rehearsing performance choreography.

Makeup classes can be scheduled in any style of dance provided the level/style is age appropriate for the dancer. Makeup class availability is NOT GUARANTEED, we recommend you make every effort to attend your dancer's registered class each week.

All makeups must be scheduled through the front desk in advance of attendance to confirm availability.
Class Withdrawal Policy & Procedures
You may withdraw from a class by CLICKING HERE & completing and signing a withdrawal request no later than the 15th of the month. Please note, a signed and completed request must be received & confirmed by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged tuition on the 1st.

If notification is received beyond the 15th, tuition will be processed automatically as normal and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Your withdrawal request will be processed for the following month.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS:

When classes need to be cancelled for circumstances that are beyond the studio's control such as inclement weather, fire, earthquake, government mandated closure, etc. makeup classes, if any, are at the sole discretion of the Studio Owner. No reimbursement of tuition is given when classes are cancelled.
Tuition & Payment Policies
Tuition is due and collected via automatic payment on the 1st of each month with either a credit card (MC, VISA, DISCOVER only) or a checking/savings account. Cash payments are acceptable; however, an authorized electronic payment account must be placed on file. Cash payments must be made prior to the 1st to avoid automatic electronic payment.

Monthly tuition is based upon 4 weeks (4 classes) in a month. There is no additional charge for those months with 5 weeks and 5 classes; however, there is no proration of tuition for those months which may contain a holiday full week closure. This occurs Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Break, & Easter/Spring Break.

A $25 late fee will be applied to any account not paid in full by the 5th of the month. A $25 NSF fee will be applied to ALL declined transactions regardless of reason.

Should you need to make any changes to your billing account, you may do so at anytime via our online Parent Portal or by visiting our administration team at the front desk.

All account balances must be paid in full prior to services being rendered! Please note, any dancer with an outstanding balance WILL NOT be permitted to participate in class regardless of reason until their account is made current.
​
Tuition, registration fees, costume fees, recital fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason. Alta Loma Dance Academy's policy on refunds is that there are NO REFUNDS.
Season 10 Pricing Guide
Tuition is based upon the total class time each dancer takes each week. We offer a slight discount to those dancers taking multiple classes. In addition, we offer a sibling discount to families enrolling multiple dancers who reside in the same household. Please note, sibling discounts cannot be applied to cousins, friends, or any other non sibling relationship. These groups should take advantage of our referral program!!

Private Lessons may be booked in full hour or half hour increments. Multiple dancers may enroll within a single private lesson; however, pricing remains as listed per person and is not split between participating dancers.

Season 10 Membership Policies
Membership (formerly termed Registration) assumes enrollment either in our 12-month program (July-June) with encouraged participation in our Christmas Recital and Summer Recital and/or enrollment in one of our Camps, Intensives, Events, or Mini Sessions.
An Annual non-refundable Membership fee of $49 (Basic Membership Perks) or $99 (Premium Membership Perks) per student is required annually on May 1st for Rollover Members and/or at the time of enrollment. Any member electing to cancel their annual membership will be required to purchase a new membership at full price to rejoin.
Season 10 Dress Code
At Alta Loma Dance Academy we've created a fun yet structured environment in which our dancers thrive. Having a formal dress code is just one element of our "secret sauce" that aids our dancers in achieving such great success. A properly prepared dancer arriving in proper dress code is a dancer that is focused, ready to learn, and a step ahead of the rest! Please review the charts below for your dancer's dress code and don't hesitate to reach out should you have any questions or need help sourcing dress code items for your child!​​

* In all classes, please ensure your dancer's hair is secured away from the face in a pony tail or ballet bun. All ballet & acro classes will require a ballet bun!
